Let's see:

15 locations;

Say, 10 screens with the "good" sound systems;

300 patrons per screen (weekend);

5 screenings per day

4 weekends

15 X 10 X 300 X 5 X 8(2-day weekend) = 1,800,000 people.

One million eight hundred thousand people now know about and HAVE HEARD dvd-audio. And even if it's only a vague idea, when they are browsing dvd-music video titles or shopping for a new dvd player, that theater presentation will probably bob up into their consciousness, at least making them pause a second. And for some people, really stop and actively consider paying extra for the format, whether for software or hardware. And some will shop strictly just for that type of player or format in mind.

And that's just the weekend moviegoers........................
