David, thanks for this long-awaited review. I think most of us expected the 'C333ES to be good, but not quite up to par with the SCD-1 and SCD-777ES. Still, it's great news for SACD fans to see Sony continue to develop excellent products and not go for mass market too quickly. I will definitely check out the 'C333ES when my local store gets it (hopefully very soon), but I suspect I will stick with my '777ES for SACD and CDP-CA80ES carousel changer, which I am still very happy with. If you have anything else to share once you get the final production 'C333ES, we'd be glad to hear it! Thanks again.
