I don't think you can make phone calls on it, but I could be wrong.
On the other hand, you can plug in multiple USB hard drives containing digital music files, and it will play all digital formats up through DSD512. It also has a port to install an internal SSD just like the Eversolo player. It can stream digital music from any streaming website, and it can be used as an external DAC for a computer streamer. Therefore, I'm wondering what you mean by your remark. Do you think it's a bad solution for a thousand dollars?
