Can this rip be saved?

Hi-Rez Highway

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

I never saw this before in my ripping. Looks like it clipped severely?
Don't recall what I did to screw it up so badly.

Am I correct in assuming that whatever music info that would have been in the clipped areas is now lost forever?

So just digitally reducing the amplitude will not recover original music info from the source file, and I will need to redo the ripping?
