You subscribed to the wrong Tidal service.I'm paying $11.99/mo for the highest quality Tidal streaming and $15.74/mo for Qobuz. They sound comparable to me depending on what's playing.
There's definite overlap between the two services but I find more albums that I like on Tidal. Since I use Roon as my interface I'm isolated from the different interfaces used by Tidal and Qobuz. You might want to try both and determine which one you prefer for easily finding the music you enjoy most. It's really a personal decision.
