I have some samples in DSD128 and DSD 256 and they do sound really good. I've never owned a SACD so I can't compare to that, but it sounds ever so slightly better than 24/192. I also have some DXD and that sounds really good too. I can't say that I like the music though.
I wouldn't listen to 16/44.1 if I could help it, but there is no avoiding it. Mostly 24/44.1 through 24/192 since that's what Qobuz has.
Playing right now is Joan Jett and the Blackhearts doing "Crimson and Clover" in 16/44.
