Home Hi-Rez Highway

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

Twice incorrect.

1. H.A.T.S. was Sony's proprietary implementation of ARC (HDMI's Audio Rate Control) which was also implemented by Pioneer and others, all in ways that prevented inter-brand use. The lack of inter-brand compatibility doomed all from the beginning. Ayre was the only one to use the open standard.
2. ARC (and, therefore HATS) required support for it on both the source and the target components which is why you are confined to using Sony components for both. Oppo's low-jitter scheme is quite different as it exists entirely on the source component.

I do not understand your sentence fragment about analogue outputs.
