RE: Review: Oppo UDP-205: there is some magic in those new chips.

I do not how the Oppo 95 compares with the 103 but I did not like the 103 and took it back for a refund. Maybe I will try the 205 providing I can return it. As for the ESS Sabre pro dac, it seems the only way to use it with HDMI is to get an AVR that contains one,I use AVR's pre-out into my excellent stereo amp for front speakers. You say the 205 is better than the 5400ES for CD, is it any better for SACD.
