your comments and descriptions on the Ayre spinner are consistent with every thing I have read from other owners. I have always wanted to demo the model that you own. I once heard the C-7xe cd player.

I enjoy the Esoteric DV-60 for SACD playback only. Its cd presentation is too thin and dry to taste. Owners of the higher end models say the CD playback gets much better compared to the lesser/entry-level models.
