It's three, it turn out.
In no particular order...
- Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon. Most know this one, and should. Excellent remastering.
- Kenny Burrell and John Coltrane (eponymous). Great jazz, A- original recording (a little tape saturation on the piano), and great remastering onto SACD
- Getz/Gilberto (on Verve). The male vocals are a little shaky, the female vocals are first rate, and the original mastering is what analog CAN sound like when a master recording engineer cares. The SACD remaster is, as far as I can tell, flawless.
It astounds and annoys me that I have many classical SACDs, and zero excellent ones. Any suggestions?
