My plan is to get a new Oppo UHD universal player when it is released and output the audio from it via HDMI to a Bryston BDA-3 DAC. Anyone have listened to the new Bryston unit?
Also I have some 24 bit files like the Beatles album collection. Does the Oppo players currently on the market play these files with gapless playback? I know the players have this option, but do the files have to be specially encoded for gapless playback? I converted the Beatles 24 bit FLAC files to WAVE files, so I don't know if this will work?
