Just received my copy. There is an insert explaining the process.
The original multitrack is a digital recording. The new mix was done at Capitol Studios by Jim Anderson in 2011. Jim Anderson was the original engineer who recorded the digital master and did the original mix at Chicago Recording Studios in Chicago. It was in 2011 remixed in the analog domain and analog chambers were used to produce ambience and reverb. It was then mastered by Gus Skinas at the Super Audio Center. It was mastered straight with nothing done in terms of compression or added eq to the master mix. I will listen to this later today and give my impressions
Alan
