I had a Marantz SA-17 years ago and have subsequently bought a SA8005 modified by The Upgrade Company. It has the standard modifications + 3 Bybee Purifiers. It sounds much better than the SA-17 and cost a total of $1,798.00. The Upgrade Company also modifies the more expensive Marantz players.
