I suspect at $600, a lot of people jumped to the $1K range when they considered it. It looks good but is very lightweight.

Wouldn't it be nice to find an SA-1 in a thrift store for $15! I am not going to hold my breath. I am getting a very good sound on both Redbook and SACD. I am sure there is better, but I can live happily with this. I will have to track down some more SCAD disks. Do you know of a good place to buy them?
