ted B it is quite obvious from your unusual room as to why you require all the acoustic room treatment, your original sound must have been quite awful. Fortunately I do not have the problem. In my various House moves I have always been fortunate to have had good room acoustics which is why I do not need Audyssey or room treatments. All I have done in my present listening room is to put a large rug on the rear wall, my room is fully carpeted, heavy drapes over the front patio windows. IMO one would have to have an exceptionally bad room to require Audyssey to alter speaker response so beloved by Kal & Fitzcalrado. Just to be sure I have listened to live guitar& violin in my room compared to recorded sound virtually no difference so I do not need room EQ despite what Kal & Fitz keep promoting as they must have rooms with very poor acoustics. However I expect Kal to say I am missing the point of room EQ.
