You can open the DXD files in iZotope RX. If you check them on the spectrum analyzer you can see the rising noise at about 50kHz. DAD sustains the use of this high sampling rate because it allows the use of gentler anti-aliasing filters which will induce less ringing in the AD process, thus better impulse response.Probably the best way of recording would be in DSD128 which wouldn't require any filtering and then convert to PCM in the DAW with Weiss Saracon or something like that and choose your filters.
