Please read what Mali wrote in response to your honest observations at the show, then I responded to him. I was twisting his response back on itself. Ever notice how audiophiles only seem to accept favorable reviews of show reports when it reflects positively on their equipment? Owners of Esoteric and EMM Labs players seem to be particularly sensitive when comparisons with heavily modded players are even hinted at. I had a quick look, but Mali's equipment is not listed. Darn. Saying that it takes days or even weeks to identify the not so subtle differences people claim to hear is bunk. Whether it be a proven clock mod to an existing player or an objective comparison between a modded player and one that many find overpriced, all are valid. A buddy of mine recently had the TFL installed in his player and he said that he heard the differences from tune one. I believe him.
