Pretty often. People on the net who own the questionable component then rush to it's aid by saying "Wait for 400 + hours, it'll come to life."
Yeah, right. That or they will have made three or four cable and room treatment changes to get lucky and make it sound right. No one knows what may have happened had they simply put as much of an effort into maximizing what it had replaced. Oh, say an optimal output section and high end clocking source. And for far less.
