I would imagine that he might be amenable to letting you A-B them in your home, ask him. But I think you'll come to the same conclusion that my friend and I did. The 3910 is a VERY nice unit, I plan on keeping mine for the next decade or so...

BTW, the picture quality of DVDs on the 3910 is stellar, it upscales them to HD quality, 1080i. The more I think about it, skip the A-B session and just grab the 3910. You will never regret it, I promise. And, one more thing, be sure to download the region free BIOS flash software so you can play any disc from any part of the world. I've found that DVDs that cost $30 in the States are around half that price in Australia.
