since the Yamaha S2500 is still in the shop.Absolutely astounding. No other term fits.
Best classical SACD I have heard. Period. Especially the kettle drums on the first movement, they add real drama to the music. Only oddity is absence of much orchestra\music from left rear speaker in some portions of the second movement (ambience is there, just not much orchestra) but they playing is fabulous, and the sound perfect.
