I have had my share of bad luck too. My Marantz SA15S1, which I bought in january, has just been sent for its second service job (!!!). After a few weeks it had difficulty reading SACDs ("No Disc") and now it has problems reading regular CDs ("Can't Play"). I am not too happy about this.It eludes me as well why after all these years of developing CD-transports Marantz struggles to deliver a transport that works. I have never ever experienced problems like this before with the other CD-players I owned. The Marantz sounds marvelous though...
