I have bought a universal too, with 5 full size speakers two years ago. But, DVD-audio is such an terrible format. Why? Because, menus are terrible, I have several, I still don't know how to access the two channel track and a top cd is quite close. Quality of sacd is better and much more convenient. My next component will be a top notch 2ch sacd/cd player. I prefer to play the remastered cd on an excellent cd player above the dvd-audio.Also sacd is excellent on a 2ch system. Use the 5ch for dvd dts/dd. Keep your pioneer.
Buy the sa-11s1 Marantz and forget dvd-audio and 5ch. In Europe I would compare that Marantz to the new T+A 1250R, same price (3000 euro) and slightly better in a test than the Marantz.
