I am not expert enough on the classical music to comment on the classical selections but KOB is an SACD that everyone acknowledges is one of the best in terms of both music and sonics. Stardust is probably Willie Nelson's best album and again, the sonics are outstanding. The vast majority of jazz releases available for SACD ARE over 30 years old so recommending new ones get a bit more difficult. I would put SACDs by Pieces of a Dream, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and the recent Chesky "West of Fifth" up there, but as recent discussion shows these are more dependent on taste and do not have the "classic status enjoyed by Stardust or KOB. Some like them and some don't. I'd also add Ray Brown's Soular Energy but at 23 years in age it may be too old for you.You are welcome to not like any of my selections
