I was really looking forward to this recording for several reasons.Zinman is a good conductor and this recording included the
rarely used BLUMINE movement. The recording did not move me at all.It's a very straight forward reading.I just got,listened to it twice.Compared it to the Zander/Telarc and Zander really gets it right.still have to compare to Tilson-Thomas.so i'll keep on listening but initally it is a disappontment (and i've pre-ordered the Mahler 2nd from Zinman
