Dave, CD Review always mentions if the disc is an SACD. Unfortunately they appear to appreciate and talk about the medium only as something that provides surround sound. Its stereo and/or hi-rez characteristics are never ever mentioned. I think that this does SACD a huge disservice as few listeners will have surround systems (especially in our small UK rooms)and will therefore never understand much of the benefit that SACD can bring. Thus regrettably the programme's failure to deal properly with this helps to diminish rather than increase the market for SACD.I'll listen with interest next Saturday.
