Sony SCD-1 and SCD-777ES (and many other players) have the reference clock oscillator near the DAC chips clocking them directly. This is much better solution compared to PLL DAC clocking in many other universal and SACD/CD digital players.This said; implementing "Super Clock" or any other "better clock" in SCD-1 or 777ES sure brings nice improvement, IMO.
