I have one or two Genesis albums on vinyl (and also a few Phil Collins). They sound pretty good. If the new SA-CDs sound anything like them I'll be very happy.*** Also I think that Police, Elton John and Peter Gabriel SA-CD's are not doing justice to the format. ***
Huh? They sound great to me (again, comparison to vinyl, where I have the equivalent).
If your point was that a well mastered CD sounds good, I don't disagree with that. But it doesn't mean that it's not possible to hear additional benefit from SA-CD.
