speaker positioning?

The system you describe seems like it should give you pretty great results after you get it all going. I've enjoyed your saga so far!

BTW, with Vandersteen subs as part of your LF/RF pair, you may find you don't really need the ".1" channel in your system. I've found adding a ".1" to an otherwise full-range surround system is overkill. Your experience and/or preference could be different I realize.
