It would seem they have been pushing Warner for a long time on this. The Lamb has been ready to go for over two years, for example. I'm happy ordering from Europe and would have preferred to see them go ahead with the original schedule and no US release. I'm sure a lot of other fans in the US feel the same way. Maybe if they had shown Warner the potential demand and how much business they're losing, the situation would be different.On a related note, I don't really understand why the record labels get caught up in format wars. It would seem to me that they would benefit most from being format agnostic and release content into whatever formats & markets they see potential sales. The idea that Warner would leave money on the table out of loyalty for a dead format seems perverse.
