The low level popping noise is always there. A stock player has muting transistors that prevent it from making it out of the player.
Most modified players bypass the muting section. But glad the RAM mods improve upon a good player. I have considered using a transformer instead of the HDAM circuits. Is there a buffer driving the output iron, or is it driven straight off the dac?George
