SACDs should be either analog to DSD origin, or DSD origin, period. (If DSD were just an extension of PCM, rather than an entirely new and different--and some say better--way of recording and playback, I wouldn't care.)The fact that so many SACDs are warmed-over PCM was a real turn-off for me, and it's one of the reasons I left for vinyl. I believe that on SA-CD.net, there are only 700+ pure DSD offerings?
