Perigo, I wish so much that this was the case, but with Lp after Lp, (only regarding recordings in which the acoustic is natural) it is simply not true, though I would take SACD over CD any day. I have no agenda and have spent a year each with both SACD and Lp, carefully listened to through decent "mid-fi" equipement. Lp still presents the sound with the most realism and focus of all, and for what it's worth, I'm an avid concert-goer and a part-time symphony musician.
