Sonically, this is a good release. Musically, the cello concerto sounds to me like a Shostakovich Cello Cto #3 (which IMO is a good thing). I am less convinced of the symphony. It has a brooding quality to it which comes off more as a 40 minute tone poem than a true symphony. I've listened to it twice now and the second time I was a bit more convinced about it but still share this reservation. Worth a listen.
