1. In order to make such a blanket statement, you would have had to compare pretty much every sub-$1000 SACD player to every $2000+ CD player, which I don't believe you have done.2. It directly contradicts my personal experience with a sub-$1000 CD/DVD-V/SACD player playing SACDs compared to two well-regarded $2000+ CD players playing CDs.
That's why your statement, like nearly all blanket statements, is wrong.
