These SACDs are made from existing CD reissues, not from analog master tapes. Membran, like all european public domain reissue labels, doesn't have access to the tapes, so they can only use the best sources they can find, which are usually the CD releases issued by the original labels. For music from the pre-tape era, some public domain labels use 78 rpm records as source for their CDs, but that would be too much work for a "distribution label" such as Membran.
The reason why Membran is releasing those on (multichannel) SACDs is to stand out from the other cheap reissue CDs. It's only marketing. At best, they sound as good as the best CD version of these recordings on the market.
