I’m curious about the Charles Munch/ Schubert: Symphony No. 9 reissue.Why?
Was this an especially distinguished treatment of this symphony? The stand out version of this symphony from approximately this era that I recall was by Josef Krips. It was almost always included in the short list of the best recordings of this symphony.Never saw Munch’s version on the lists.
