My 9000ES is in a box ready to go to Sony. It has the same problem as yours. My 9100ES so far has been flawless, although it takes its time in reading any disc inserted. The SACD sound is so much better with the 9100 it leads me to believe the 9000 has been out of allignment since I got it. I bought both the 9000 and 9100 through AudiogoN, though several years apart.db
