Home Hi-Rez Highway

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

In your defense, the remote is not a model of ergonomics

nor, frankly, is anything else about the operation of the player.

You can do me one favor, though: tell me if you've figured out how to advance to the next track on the disc without knowing the number of the track you're currently listenting to and then punching in the next number on the remote.

I don't think there's a way to do that, and it annoys me. Every other cheapass CD player I've ever owned, beginning with the Pioneer I bought in 1987, had a "next track" button. Yet this -- in relative terms -- megabuck Sony does not.

If I'm wrong about that, I'd be grateful to know it.
