Which mods could be recommended for SACD1000? My player still working so I decide to think about modding it. Performing real mods by professional modder will be too chancy so I considering inexpensive ones or ones what could be carrying over to other player if mine will die. I’m thinking of changing in no particular order:
Power cord, caps, RCA’s, schottky or hexfred diodes, dumping. How inexpensive could be clock change? Or hacking output with transformer or capacitor? Or any other ideas or direction you could steer me on. Does any body know good web cite I could learn on mods? Should I buy service manual? If yes what store do you recommend? Also I’ve got another question. When I open my player and touch PC caps they were pretty worm. Is it a good idea to change them or even install other regulated PC? I read some there what capacitors and heat shouldn’t mix together.
