Re: The player divide (audio/video)?

DVD-A is a great audio format but it needs video. I would prefer if manufacturers who make universal players make players that excel in either audio or video instead of spending money on both. For example the Denon 3930 is supposed to be a good audio player. But it also has enhanced video like 1080p, Realta HQV chip, etc. Being an audiophile & not a videophile I would prefer a 3930a which focused only on the audio part and maybe for video had just a composite out for menus and another 3930v which focused on the video part and maybe did not have advanced audio like HDCD. Unfortunately now if I am on a budget, I need to get a 2930 with average audio and if I have the money I get a great set of video features that I will never use :-(
