I don't do SACD but in RB the sonics are closed in (smallish sound stage) and seem compressed (lacking dynamics). The performance is quite 'beautiful' if you like mellow Mahler, especially the 4th movement. For me the good news is that he didn't reorder the 2d and 3d movements which is so in vogue just now. Just to be sure my system wasn't the problem I played the 4th movement from Bernsteins, Van Karajan's, Zanders, MTT's, and my favorite Sanderling. Wasn't my system! But, FWIW, I did like it more than Fischers. :-)
