Alex or Allen:would it then be possible to mod the Sony NS90/92V (I am sure he uses the CXD 9804R chip but I do not know if in this case also the MT1389EE is underneath) to use its PureDSD outputs and do the D/A conversion with the AKM 4358?
Since the AKM chip has native DSD and PCM inputs it is maybe the better sounding solution to hold the DSD signal until it is converted to analog.Or is it just enough to turn the Mch adjustments of.
