The Brahms Requiem by Herrewhege sounded pretty good so I ordered a few Membrans from Cambridge. So far the Beethoven ninth sounds pretty good, better than straight CD although not up to a DSD recording. The highest frequencies are truncated, but the sound does not have the usual teeth gritting annoyance of CD. Sounds a bit like an FM broadcast of a good redbook recording.
