Hi Lew,
I kept my query quite condensed but the general idea was that tubed outputs are maybe for people who want a bit of the 'tube sound' to smoothe out any posible digititus.If you are already all tube maybe your options are greater.
You can see from my registry that I'm all tube and all analog vinyl.All those SACD players seem sooo expensive. Sure I don't doubt that quality merchadise will cost more. It seems though that there are no budget or 'giant killer' players. Anything with a pedegree is over $1500.Dennis
