noise after bach's 'english suites'

..this subject has been addressed before but i can't find the posts in the search area that would allow me to find the answer so excuse the redundant post...i was playing bach's 'english suites' sacd the other day and when it finished there was a very loud ..harsh..noise that began right after the music ended that lasted for a few seconds while i was in another room....i remember reading posts about the cause and possible 'fix' for the problem but do not remember what they said....re-educate me please as to what is going on...thanks
