Linked is an article on the HK Warner Music SACD at highfidelityreview.com. I don't think corporate Warner Music knew what was happening. Ironically, most of the HK Warner Music SACDs were remastered at Sony Studio in New York by Vic Anesini (Santana, Dylan, John Denver, etc.) and pressed by Sony in Terre Haute, Indiana.Attached photo is a scan of the HK Warner Music SACDs, including "George Lam & the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra - Live" multi-channel hybrid SACD (pictured upper right corner), which was to be the first direct-to-DSD live recording to be released in Asia on SACD and ended up as vaporware when corporate Warner Music cracked down. HK Warner Music never released another hi-rez title, not even on DVD-A.
