From the photos I've seen, it looks like the Maverick displays the track number and elapsed time, so I don't know what the complaint about display really meant. I could care less about showing remaining time, etc.I'm more concerned about reports of a loud whirring or scraping sound after a disc is loaded, to be remedied only by opening and re-closing the tray. Have you experienced this issue?
