Sordidman,Maybe it is you who needs to do some investigating and research into what you are saying. Using the chassis, SMPS, mechanism, transport PCB of another maunufacturers player is not what I consider a typical "manufacturer". He is a MODDER. Spring for the $25,000 licence to use the mechanism, build your own chassis', and then assemble from scratch...that's a manufacturer. "modders" execute changes to stock players.PERIOD!
