First off I don't even think about redbook performance with the Technics DVD-A10 because it pales in comparison with the 333ES - so I can't comment on that - I am plain tired of constantly comparing all the players I have. I have now settled on 333ES for redbook playback and stereo SACD playback. Technics DVD-A10 for DVD-Video and DVD-Audio playback. I had to disconnect my Toshiba Sd-2200 since there is no room on my rack anymore with the addition of the CE775. I was using this to play only HDCD CDs - since it had a built in decoder. I guess I will now play all redbook (HDCD and otherwise) in the 333ES.

I am sure there is a break-in period for the CE775 - and if I notice a appeciable change in sound compared to the my 333ES I will definitely report. But I really only plan to use the 775 for multichannel SACD.

The interconnects currently being used are Monster Cable Reference Series for the 333ES, and Monster Cable Interlink 400's all around on the DVD-A10 and CE775. (with the need for 3 stereo pair interconnects each for the multichannel players - I decided to go cheaper on the interconnects that with the 333ES). What I didn't mention in my review was that I made sure I used the reference series interconnects that I use on my 333ES when auditioning the 775 in stereo mode only. When doing multichannel I used the Interlink 400's. Man interconnects can cost as much as the component, even when you only buy 3 pair of interlink 400's :-)
