find it preferable to the SACD but not by a huge margin. The sound on the LS's I have (SACD) is generally very good but it just doesn't seem to be as good as it could be. The Bartok has a slight "edginess" not on the vinyl e.g."Man is the only animal that blushes - or needs to" Mark Twain
